Global Physics Photowalk

Capture the behind the scenes of SNOLAB

During a Global Physics Photowalk event, hundreds of amateur and professional photographers have the rare opportunity to go behind-the-scenes at world leading science facilities. In the past, this has included SNOLAB as well as labs like CERN (Switzerland), Fermilab (USA), SUPL (Australia), and TRIUMF (Canada).

The Interactions Collaboration invites participating photographers to submit photos for local and global competitions. Each laboratory conducts local competitions and offers prizes to local winners. Furthermore, in the spirit of friendly competition, the top photos from each laboratory compete in two global competitions: a jury competition and a people’s choice competition conducted via online vote. Global winners have opportunity to be featured in Symmetry magazine, the CERN Courier, and as part of a travelling exhibit across laboratories globally.

Stay tuned for more information and registration for the 2025 Photowalk!
