Tom Corr

CEO and founder
AI Partnerships Corporation

Tom is the CEO and founder of AI Partnerships Corporation (AIP), an international network of artificial intelligence product and services focused companies. Prior to forming AIP, he was the President, CEO, and a director of the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE), a not-for-profit organization funded by the Government of Ontario and Government of Canada with a mandate to co-invest with industry and academia in the commercialization of innovation originating in the province’s universities, colleges, research institutes, and the private sector. 

Prior to joining OCE in 2010, Tom was the CEO and a director of the Accelerator Centre (AC) at the Waterloo Research and Technology Park and Associate Vice-President of Commercialization at the University of Waterloo (UW). Prior to that, he was Director of Commercialization – IT & Communications at the University of Toronto. Tom’s career also includes leadership roles in the IT sector including positions as Managing Partner at Catalyst Partnership; founder and CEO of Momentum Systems; founder and CEO of Applied Development Corp., president of Canadian Data Processing Corp., and various management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation.  

Tom holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Henley Management College/Brunel University in England, an MBA from the University of Toronto, an Advanced Diploma in Management Consultancy from Henley Management College, and the ICD.D designation by the Institute of Corporate Directors. Tom also serves on the boards of Ontario Centre of Innovation (formerly OCE), C-FER Technologies, Tyromer Inc., Ontario Genomics and AI Partnerships Corp. He joined the SNOLAB board in 2021.
