Anthony Downs

Anthony Downs joined Vale in September 2019 and is the Digital Transformation Global Leader. In this role. Anthony is well-known in the global mining industry for his broad technical and systems knowledge and track record of delivering innovative, robust and secure solutions to tough business problems. Over the past 12 months Anthony has worked for Hatch as a Principle Consultant in the US. Prior to this, Anthony worked for Rio Tinto for 15 years, where he held numerous Operational and Corporate roles in various business units across their US, Canadian and Australian businesses. Anthony has a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology and Strategic Management and has gained his AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification.
