The SNOLAB Institute Board of Directors and the SNOLAB Executive Director (ED) Search Committee provides an update on the ED search process.
The committee reports that the SNOLAB ED search is progressing well, and the search committee now has a short list of four candidates who have the scientific, management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills needed for this position. To arrive at this short list, the committee considered several excellent candidates. Planning is now underway for interviews early in the new year.
The next phase of the search will include interviews at SNOLAB, presentations to staff, facility visits, and meetings with various stakeholder groups. Engagement and feedback will be welcomed from staff and stakeholders as this process progresses.
The search committee will be seeking this input on candidate interviews to facilitate the selection of the best leader to take SNOLAB to even greater scientific achievements.
