Remembering Fraser Duncan

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that SNOLAB passes on the news that Fraser Duncan, our Associate Director and dear friend, passed away peacefully over the weekend. Fraser passed away in Sudbury with his brother in attendance. Our thoughts are with his family and all his friends.

As was his wont, Fraser continued working with us until very recently, a sign of his commitment and dedication to SNOLAB. On both the facility and research programme side, he was instrumental in the development and evolution of SNOLAB into the organisation it is now. His legendary breadth of knowledge, attention to detail, and total dedication to the science and facility ensured that the infrastructure we have today is amongst the best in the world, and capable of supporting the world-leading science we do.

SNOLAB is forever indebted to him.
