EXO Experiment boasts new limits on Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay

June 04, 2012 — Experiment Updates

SNOLAB is proud to support the EXO (Enriched Xenon Observatory) Experiment which has recently announced new World-leading limits on neutrinoless double beta decay. The EXO Experiment is an international collaboration led by Stanford University and the U.S. Department of Energy’s SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. SNOLAB supports this collaboration through the work of Dr. Bruce Cleveland, SNOLAB research scientist and his work on low background counting and laser testing. Locally, Laurentian University and Carleton University also play significant roles through the research of Dr. Jacques Farine and Dr. David Sinclair.

Congratulations to the EXO Collaboration!
