What keeps galaxies from pulling themselves apart as they spin through the universe at mind-boggling speeds? How is it that the universe is expanding at an ever increasing rate? 

Just in time for Dark Matter Day, join us as we dive 2 km below the earth’s surface to SNOLAB where scientists are attempting to measure the elusive dark matter particle. Dr. Chris Jillings, SNOLAB Research Scientist and Adjunct Professor of Physics at Laurentian University will be our guide as we learn how to detect this particle that does not interact with light.
