Out of caution related to the spread of COVID-19, the Interactions Collaboration is postponing the 2020 Global Photowalk competition scheduled for this spring and summer. All participating labs, SNOLAB included, will postpone events and revisit planning at a later date.
The Global Photowalk is a worldwide science photography competition held by participating physics facilities in Asia, Europe, and North America. In this event, both amateur and professional photographers are given an exclusive opportunity to explore the world’s particle physics labs and share images of the world class science underway.
The Interactions Collaboration organized and sponsored these photowalks in 2015 and 2018. A new schedule for the Global Photowalk will be announced later this summer.
