For this sample, there is a clear disequilibrium in the 232Th decay chain, with much more thorium detected from the daughters of 228Th (212Pb & 208Tl) than from 232Th (228Ac). This could be due the removal of some of the 228Ra in the production process which has a 5.75 year half-life and/or “left-over” thorium from 228Th which has a half-life of 1.9 years and even the removal of some of the 232Th.
