Exhibits
For a hands on introduction to the science being conducted at SNOLAB visit the SNOLAB display at the Science North science centre located in Sudbury Ontario.
The Canada Science and Technology Museum located in Ottawa, Ontario has developed an exhibit around the original Sudbury Neutrino Observatory to explain how it resolved the decades-old mystery about the inner wokings of the sun. (click here for exhibit pictures)
SNOLAB related Video and Audio
SNOLAB and SNOLAB experiments have made their way into a number of videos.
Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (PI) in Ontario, Canada, offers a free, high quality in-class resource for high school teachers and their students. The full video and guide, called "The Mystery of Dark Matter", features SNOLAB and can be viewed online at Perimeter Explorations.
SNOLAB was featured in the Oct 24, 2007 episode of the PBS program Wired Science. You can view the Wired Science Episode.
The SNO experiment was featured on the PBS program NOVA which aired in 2006 called The Ghost Particle.
Tours
Because SNOLAB is situated in an active mine, tours are not available to the general public. However, under some circumstances it is possible to arrange tours for university educational or research groups. Mining rules require that all persons on such tours be 18 years of age or older.
