Development of re-establishing the data acquisition system and neutron detection read out continues. HALO benefits from having approximately 600 meters of neutron detectors from the final phase of the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory. The Neutral Current Detector (NCD) Array was the primary means of measuring the neutron flux in the final stage of SNO. The NCD electronics have the proven ability to control voltages and monitor counters in real time. HALO electronics require slight modifications and simplifications from the SNO NCD Electronics.
